Information SubLoader handles

SubLoader does not independently collect personal information for advertising, analytics, or behavioral profiling. When a user chooses to sign in to OpenSubtitles, login credentials are transmitted to OpenSubtitles for authentication. SubLoader does not save the user's OpenSubtitles password.

Subtitle files

Local subtitle files selected by the user are processed within Chrome. They are used by SubLoader to display subtitles over supported videos.

Local storage

SubLoader may store extension settings, subtitle preferences, authentication tokens, and subtitle-related state locally in the browser using Chrome's extension storage. Some subtitle information may be associated with individual videos during use of the extension.

Website access

SubLoader accesses supported YouTube, Dailymotion, Prime Video, and Netflix pages only as needed to identify the current video and provide subtitle-related functionality, including displaying, synchronizing, customizing, and controlling subtitles.

OpenSubtitles

When the user uses Find Subtitles Online, SubLoader communicates with the OpenSubtitles API to perform subtitle searches, authentication, and subtitle downloads. Search-related information may include the video title, year, season, episode, language, and other search preferences selected by the user.

Authentication

Users may optionally sign in to an OpenSubtitles account through SubLoader. Login credentials are sent to OpenSubtitles for authentication. SubLoader does not save the user's OpenSubtitles password. After successful authentication, an authentication token may be stored locally and used for authenticated OpenSubtitles requests.

Analytics and advertising

SubLoader does not use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling, or analytics services.

Data sharing and sale

SubLoader does not sell or rent user data. Information is transmitted to OpenSubtitles only when necessary to provide online subtitle features requested by the user.

Third-party services

OpenSubtitles is an independent third-party service. Use of OpenSubtitles is subject to its own terms, privacy practices, account requirements, and usage limits.

Changes to this policy

If SubLoader's data practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes before any new data collection practices are introduced.
